FulTech Solutions, a 15 year old Jacksonville based, high-technology company, has been named as the CEA/Consumer Electronics Association (think CES Show in Vegas) Mark of Excellence “Integrator of the Year” award winner. This national award recognizes the Top dealer or integrator in the electronics integration/AV industry from industry involvement, expertise, experience, industry awards over the years and quality of installations/projects. Winners were announced at a gala event, this month’s Mark of Excellence Awards dinner at the EH Expo in Orlando, Florida on March 19th.

Dan Fulmer has been named one of Custom Retailers (magazine) Young Turks of 2011

Dan started Fultech in 1995 and has been heavily involved in the industry since. From serving on committees and boards to writing for publications and teaching courses for the past five years at the EH Expo, he provides annual training for all technical employees, including travel to and from training events. Dan holds the following: InfoComm CTS certification, Crestron Master programmer, Extron ATA certified, and CompTIA DHTI+. In addition, Dan provides in-house training and develops multiple systems to streamline and control quality on projects such as an online internal website that tracks projects, job progress, warranty information and more.

Dan Fulmer was just curious when he attended the Electronic House Expo in Orlando in 1995. He’d just graduated from the University of Central Florida with a computer science degree, so an exhibition hall on a technologically wired home was right up his alley.

“I knew this was cool stuff,” he said. “I just didn’t know how well it worked, and how commercial it would be to make money off it.”
