About Us

FulTech Solutions began in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1994, as a small smart home wiring company. In 1995, it evolved into Smart Technologies, a design and installation firm, for residential lighting and advanced control systems.

After several months, the company was restructured and named FulTech Solutions, Inc. With the background and qualifications to fully understand the fundamentals of high quality, scalable home automation system, FulTech Solutions added structured cabling systems and full residential automation and control, to its list of services. In 1996, with an extensive interactive display at the Jacksonville Home and Patio Show, the company debuted total home automation to North Florida.

FulTech developed and implemented its patent-pending Universal Cabling System (UCS), in 1997, and UCS has been listed annually in the Electronic House (EH) Buyers Guide since 2000.

More than basic structured cabling, UCS also facilitates audio and video distribution, touch screens, keypads and wiring for integrating lighting, HVAC, pool/spa control and more. The UCS is agnostic wiring, neither component nor manufacturer specific, enabling customer flexibility regarding enhancements, growth over time, and budget.

In 2002, FulTech opened a fully functional, 4500 sq. foot model home in Ponte Vedra, Fla., highlighting the best features and functionality available in the industry. The home was EH magazine’s Home of the Month in November 2003, FulTech’s second Home of the Month featured. The home, now more than 4 years old, is still state-of-the-art and UCS has accommodated any and all upgrades to date. In 2006, Fultech opened it’s second model home, a 12,000 sq foot home sporting just about everything FulTech has or can install and sell.  Our current model home, opened in 2015, is 6500 square feet, a net-zero home, with solar panels, geo-thermal HVAC, water systems, motorized sliding glass doors,  and our usual and standard smart home gear. 

During the 2006 Consumer Electronic Association’s Mark of Excellence awards, FulTech took home first place honors in two categories: Best Integrated Security system and Best Lighting Control project. The awards recognize the top achievements in custom electronic products, services and installations in the home automation industry.

In 2007, Fultech won NAHB’s IHTA Award (Integrated Home Technology Award). In 2008, Fulmer was listed in Dealerscopes 40 under 40 most influential people in the industry and in was named 2011 Young Turks in CE by Custom Retailer magazine. In 2011, Fultech won the prestigious Oscar of our industry, the CEA’s Mark of Excellence Integrator of the Year award. FulTech continues to strive to be the best and push the industry into new and innovative areas and technologies.

In 2009, Fultech expanded by opening a commercial division and hiring experienced staff for sales, buying, and bookkeeping for this new division as well as building out a state-of-the-art showroom, featuring Fultech’s own Integrated Building System, our answer to a better BMS. Our showroom recently received an Energy Star score of 93 and we use our electric bills and Energy Star to show empirically how much can be saved by implementing technology to save energy. Our homes and showroom have been featured in several local and national publications including Electronic House, CE Pro, ProAV and more.

In 2013 FulTech was named CTA’s Integrator of the Year (the Oscar of the industry) and also won Crestron’s Biggest Baddest Home System award in the same year.  FulTech continues to be an Elite Crestron dealer and we use in-house programmers and in-house installation staff, so all of your needs are handled by FulTech and our employees.  The buck stops here, there is no finger pointing, we just get it done.
